Sharing our vision and knowledge is at the core of what we do. We run butchery and farming classes to offer interested people the chance to get closer to life here on the farm.

BUTCHERY AND FARMING CLASSES

ON THE DAY

We begin by serving  an organic breakfast at the farm.  You will get to sample our own-cured bacon (made using rare-breed pork from a local farm), our own-made sausages, local organic eggs and baked bread.

There is also Monmouth coffee on tap.

After an intimate introduction to our regenerative agricultural principles and a walk round the farm, we will don the aprons and step inside our butchery. You will learn how to spot the hallmarks of a healthy animal, and get a glimpse into the craft of meat preparation. You will be given a guided demonstration, as well as the chance to cut up the meat you will take home with you. 

Beef course: £240

Lamb course: £220

Both courses include £100 worth of meat to take home.

 

We also offer tailor-made discounted courses for corporate groups, groups of children, individuals interested in their food, or would-be farmers.
